At VistaComm we serve a lot of clients who work and live in rural America. In helping our agribusiness clients market and communicate with their customers we come across all kinds of amazing stories of how these cooperatives and ag retailers are helping people in their communities. We recently published Farmers Ranchers Cooperative's newsletter which contained one of those great stories about how co-op employees came together to help a fellow co-worker in his greatest time of need, and we had to share.

VistaComm continues to grow, and it’s our pleasure to introduce the newest member of our creative services team—Danny Andrews. As creative services assistant, Danny will help VistaComm meet our objectives to exceed your client service expectations.

Specifically, this means Danny will be in the loop as your projects are initiated. Our content director, Nancy Schmidt, will still be contacting you to initiate your newsletters, schedule your journalists and help you with messaging, editorial calendars and newsletter story ideas.

After your projects are set into motion, Danny will be managing creative and production schedules to ensure everything stays on track. You’ll be hearing from Danny a lot during the proofing, editing and client approval process. We’re sure you’ll appreciate his attention to detail and desire to deliver your project ON TIME.

Danny comes to VistaComm from a large newspaper publisher in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Labs For Liberty Update - Gunner Is Home!

In July, I posted about our family’s role as fosters for the Labs For Liberty (L4L) service dog program for military veterans. We introduced readers to Gunner, the service-dog-in-training who had been with us since February. In a gratifying update, Gunner has shed the “in-training” moniker and was successfully commissioned with his U.S. Marine Corps veteran in early August.
